AGGRESSIVE GESTURES is the title and topic for the event at 3:e Våningen. The nature and causes of aggression relates to both historical tragic events and our everyday life, be it from enemies or those closest to us. For this project, Hiroko Tsuchimoto, Marie Gavois & Michel Klöfkorn, Klas Eriksson and Rut Karin Zettergren investigate actions and indications of aggression in our contemporary society and present their performative artworks at 3:e Våningen.

This project reflects upon the transition from the critical attitudes toward governing bodies of post-war period in politics and social issues to our current globalized perspective. Reconnecting the history of aggression with our society today.. We also problematize the current issues of online aggression like passive-aggressive destruction in social media. The history and background of the modern, frequently used word in the western world, Passive-aggressive behaviour spans over many intriguing fields of human social life; in aspects of psychology, labor law, political resistance and conflict theory.
